I&#8217;m sure I use them alot in everyday talk, but when I stare at them in a IM or on the page, they just irk me something fierce.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=yea&#038;sourceid=mozilla&#038;start=0&#038;start=0&#038;ie=utf-8&#038;oe=utf-8\">Yea<\/a> &#8211; means yes or when you affirm a vote you say Yea.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=ya&#038;sourceid=mozilla&#038;start=0&#038;start=0&#038;ie=utf-8&#038;oe=utf-8\">Ya<\/a> &#8211; on the other hand refers to the word you ~ like where ya going?  I also believe it&#8217;s an affirmative as well, like the german word for yes (ja) which comes off as &#8216;ya&#8217;<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=yay&#038;sourceid=mozilla&#038;start=0&#038;start=0&#038;ie=utf-8&#038;oe=utf-8\">Yay<\/a> &#8211; refers almost specificly to celebration ~ Yay, it&#8217;s my birthday!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=yeah&#038;sourceid=mozilla&#038;start=0&#038;start=0&#038;ie=utf-8&#038;oe=utf-8\">Yeah<\/a> &#8211; also equals yes and is a variant of yea.  <\/p>\n<p>Good golly, how are you supposed to keep all these similiar yet different words straight?  It&#8217;s almost impossible because they just about all mean the same thing too!  Maybe I&#8217;ll just use the word yes and forget the rest.  Yeah, that&#8217;s it&#8230; D&#8217;oh I mean YES that&#8217;s it!!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These few words infuriate me to no end.
