Hm… now what

12. July 2004 | Category Rest of Site, Updates

I’ve went ahead and ordered myself a new domain —

piotter.us

courtesy of the fantastic offer my web host was offering

Now what would be a good use of it? Possibly just an email address, but I got plenty of those already!

Give me a holla!

Happy Anniversary to Me

27. May 2004 | Category Rest of Site, Updates

Depending on where you go, it appears michaelpiotter.com has celebrated one year of existance in cyberspace as of May 23, 2004! For JOY! And to think of all the joy this little corner of the web has brought to all who have visited….. it makes one teary-eyed :'( …….

It’s been an awesome year website-wise. Learned to install MT, after some unsuccessful attempts, Jumped hosting ships to a free host for 3 years, which lead to the fullfillment of the family genealogy being placed online. Fascinating retrospect really….. just wonder how long and awesome this site will be in a few more years.

I’m still bitter I didn’t nab piotter.com, piotter.org or piotter.net while they still existed without webmasters. It turks me off more that piotter.com isn’t even hosted, just domain registered. OH WELL….

Anyway, we’ve come a long way!

WordPress-ive!

I’ve been toying around with WordPress over at the other site: http://s94830382.onlinehome.us/wp/index.php and I must say I’m impressed with it’s simplicity and resemblance to the engine behind this blog.

Hm… it makes me think

Revamp of Site

5. April 2004 | Category Rest of Site, Updates

I’ve decided to switch back servers to Xcensus in order to get my money’s worth. Having paid $6/year and not having used it since October just irritates me, so I’m using what I paid for darn it!

Well, that was short-lived. Especially after 1and1 sent me a semi-threathening email that within a month they’d drop me like a bad habit if I dropped their hosting. Hm…. hope they like their customers more than that!
